Ikirwa is an hour’s drive from Arusha, in the village of Midawe on the slopes of Mount Meru. Sponsors and donors are always welcome to visit, meet their scholar and see what they have paid for. Please write to us first so that the visit can be planned around the school day.
Volunteer and trekking programme
With Neeko Tours we offer a combined programme: a safari or a Kilimanjaro trek together with a week at the school, teaching, tutoring, coaching sport and running short projects with the children. Groups of three or more receive a discount. For participants from the United States, the programme contribution is tax-deductible through the Ikirwa School Project.
