Ikirwa is an hour’s drive from Arusha in the village of Midawe on the slopes of Mount Meru. Sponsors and donors are always welcome to visit, meet their pupil and see what they have paid for. Please write to us first so that we can plan the day with the teachers.
Volunteer and trekking programme
With Neeko Tours we run a combined programme: a safari or a Kilimanjaro trek plus a week at the school, teaching, tutoring, playing sport and running short projects with the children. Groups of three or more receive a discount. For US participants the programme contribution is tax-deductible through the Ikirwa School Project.
